Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

0830hrs drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for game drives with picnic lunch boxes. Tarangire retains an air of undiscovered Africa. It is less visited than other northern Tanzanian parks and it is a haven for birds. 550 bird species, the world’s largest selection found in one habitat find their home in Tarangire. The stocking-thighed ostrich, the world’s largest bird, might greet you in its party dress of plumes! Dinner and overnight at Kizumba Campsite

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast Ngorongoro Crater game drives with picnic lunch boxes. Often called the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About 2 million years ago the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with its 600m tall walls. Now, at over 19 kilometers wide, Ngorongoro Crater is filled with great areas of acacia forest, hippo filled swamps and open grasslands. These different habitats contain over 30,000 animals – including elephants, warthogs, flamingos, magnificent bird-life, the rare black rhinoceros and all the predatory cats. The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside the buffalo and wildebeest. Later afternoon ascend from the crater and drive to Kizumba Campsite for dinner and overnight

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha

After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch boxes. Lake Manyara National Park is a small but scenic safari park, excellent for bird-watching and a good area to find elephant, as well as the potential excitement of spotting a legendary Lake Manyara tree-climbing lion. Later afternoon depart the park and drive back to Arusha. End of services
